The Heritage Foundation's manifesto for the possible next administration could do great harm to many, including large portions of the game development community.
Criterion Software, makers of Renderware, announced at the Game Developers Conference that it has entered into an agreement with physics technology provider MathEngine to become the exclusive worldwide distributor of MathEngine’s Karma physics engine.
The agreement covers all Karma SKUs, for PC, Playstation 2, Xbox, and Gamecube, and enables Criterion to offer Karma to its full customer base. MathEngine will continue to support its existing clients directly, such as those who use Karma in conjunction with the Unreal engine. In addition to Karma sales, distribution and support, Criterion and MathEngine plan to collaborate on the development of future physics tools and middleware solutions.
