Sources close to UK developer Confounding Factor have allegedly reported that the studio is to close once the company’s one and only product, Galleon, is released in the US. Founded by Tomb Raider creators Toby Gard and Paul Douglas in April 1997 the studio has been beset with financing and staffing problems since its outset. With the poor performance of Galleon in Europe, where it was released last month, the rumored closure comes as little surprise but an official announcement has yet to be made. Source: GameSpot
