The organizers of the Game Developers Conference (GDC) have revealed the full list of speakers for the “Future Vision” strand of talks, featuring a wide variety of noted industry figures. Following the announcement of a keynote speech from Nintendo president Satoru Iwata, other speakers include Xbox co-founder and corporate vice president J Allard, Parappa the Rapper and Vib Ribbon creator Masaya Matsuura and British games guru Peter Molyneux. There will also be talks given by Epic Games founder Tim Sweeney and The Sims creator Will Wright. In addition, a new speech from Capcom president and CEO Kenzo Tsujimoto was also announced, entitled "The Japanese Game Industry: Past, Present and Future", examining the Japanese game industry through the context of Japanese events such as the Tokyo Game Show, the CESA Game Awards and CEDEC (CESA Developers Conference). Other high profile speakers come from fields other than video games, including Remington Scott, CG special projects supervisor at Sony Imageworks, and John Underkoffler, science and technology advisor to film productions including Minority Report, Hulk and Aeon Flux. GDC takes place from March 7th to 11th at the Moscone West Convention Center in San Francisco. Further details can be found at the official website.
