Activision and Treyarch announced today the addition of voice actors Gary Oldman and Ed Harris and script consultant and story developer David S. Goyer to the team behind the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops. Harris, a newcomer to video game voice acting, will voice CIA operative and main character Jason Hudson in Black Ops. He's best known for film roles in The Abyss, A History of Violence, The Rock, Apollo 13 and A Beautiful Mind. Oldman, meanwhile, will be reprising the role of Viktor Reznov, which he originated in Call of Duty: World at War. Oldman's voice has previously been included in games including The Legend of Spyro, True Crime: Streets of L.A. and Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. Movie-goers may remember Oldman from performances in The Professional, Dracula, Batman: The Dark Knight and The Book of Eli. Goyer's writing work in Hollywood includes credits on Batman: Dark Knight, Batman Begins, Blade and the upcoming Superman: Man of Steel. Following on last year's industry-leading sales of Infinity-Ward-developed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops is expected to sell over 12 million copies this holiday season, based on strong pre-order statistics.
