Officials from Buena Vista Games, the global interactive entertainment arm of Disney, has named Akira Matsumoto as the company’s new vice president and general manager. From the 1st July, Matsumoto will replace current incumbent Shuji Utsumi, who is leaving the company to pursue personal interests. Matsumoto has been with Disney for more than ten years and was most recently vice president and general manager of Disney Consumer Products Hardlines business in Japan. Source: PR Newswire
