Bionatics Launches NatFX 1.8 Tree Modeling Solution

French company Bionatics, best known for its procedural plant modeling and simulation software, has released NatFX 1.8 for 3ds max. The company said that the latest version sports better performance, allowing users to generate hybrid trees at almost twice the speed as before. Other improvements include better transparencies and new features to help game developers generate LODs. The software is priced between $990-$7,000, depending on configurations and customization levels. Extra plants are available for between $20 and $100.
