Biographic Technologies, stressing that the announcement is genuine despite the date, has released version 2.0 of its AI.Implant For Games middleware solution, offering better performance and smoother navigation. Features new to version 2.0 include a mesh-based pathfinding architecture, improved obstacle avoidance in the motion planner, support for scripting via Lua and Python, and an updated version of its Arena cross-platform viewer that now works with both Gamebryo and Renderware.
