BGT BioGraphic Technologies has announced that its AI.implant V3.5 real-time artificial intelligence product line is now shipping to customers worldwide. This latest release unifies its multi-market offering (games, simulation and animation) into one product line of tools for authoring AI, SDKs for developing real-time applications, and run-times for deploying applications on platforms including the Xbox 360. All tools (AI.DE, Maya and 3ds-max plug-ins, etc) now only require one common key per workstation. There have been improvements to the underlying character vehicle system so that the characters move in a more natural-looking way. Game and simulation developers are likely to be pleased as AI.implant is no longer only frame-based. Maya 7 and 3ds-max 7 support has been added to the tools. "This is our first big release since we shipped our next-gen product in April, and the response from our beta customers to AI.implant’s product line harmonization, improved motion quality and new time unit-independence has been very encouraging. We look forward to some really amazing next-gen games coming out," commented Dr. Paul Kruszewski, BGT’s founder and President.
