Representatives of Japanese publisher and developer Atlus have announced that the company is to revaluate its game development and refocus on the arcade sector, after reporting a loss of 180 million Yen ($1.6 million) for the full year, on top of sales of 17 billion Yen ($152 million). Since these figures represent a 25% drop in console games sales (online Xbox RPG Shin Megami Tensei Nine has had to be moved to the PC after continued poor sales of the Xbox console in Japan) and yet saw arcade results exceed expectations the company will be refocusing its development efforts in that direction.
