Officials from Atari have announced that the company’s chief financial officer, David J. Fremed , has resigned, effective immediately. Harry Rubin, senior executive vice president, will fill in for the position until a successor can be found. Fremed has left the company amicably, commenting that, "While I have enjoyed my years at Atari immensely, the chance to build a new business from the ground up was an opportunity I could not pass up.
