EA has announced an agreement with AOL Sports to market and promote free-to-play online sports trivia game EA Sports GameShow. The live-hosted game has recently finished beta testing and will now run a daily AOL “FanHouse Challenge Hour”.
Representatives from Electronic Arts have announced an agreement with AOL Sports to market and promote free-to-play online sports trivia game EA Sports GameShow. The title is described as the only live-hosted, interactive online sports trivia game and features daily updated content broadcast from EA Sports’ Orlando, Florida studio. Under the new agreement the AOL Sports website will feature the game as part of its content package, which attracts 10.9 million unique visitors a month. Each weekday between 12pm and 1pm EA Sports GameShowwill present an exclusive AOL “FanHouse Challenge Hour”, which will be hosted live and streamed online in real-time. Players are given the opportunity to interact with on-air personalities, with questions presented through a variety of media including text, audio and video. “After several months of beta testing, we’re excited to move to the next phase of EA Sports GameShow,” said executive producer Roy Harvey. “This agreement with AOL provides an outstanding opportunity to introduce new sports fans from across the country to ‘live broadcast gaming’, a captivating, innovative form of entertainment.” “Community is one of the cornerstones of AOL Sports and EA Sports GameShow is an ideal example of connecting people with their passion for sports.
