Alias Wavefront Slashes Maya Prices

Alias Wavefront announced that it will reduce the standard list prices of Maya Complete and Maya Unlimited, bringing the prices much closer to their chief rival, Discreet's 3ds max. Maya Complete, formerly priced at $7,500 will sell for $1,999 and Maya Unlimited, which formerly sold for $16,000 will be priced at $6,999. (These prices are are for node-locked licenses.) The new pricing goes into effect April 4.
