Alias|Wavefront Shipping mental ray Renderer For Maya

Alias|Wavefront is now shipping the mental ray plug-in rendering engine for Maya. The company says that mental ray for Maya offers the same features as is found in the mental ray 3.0 engine from mental images. mental ray for Maya will be available to customers in either node locked or floating license configurations. The renderer is available on Windows NT and IRIX and may be purchased through Alias|Wavefront sales offices and authorized resellers. The price was not disclosed.
