Representatives from the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) have announced the finalists for the 7th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards, which will be held at Rain in the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, March 4th. The Academy will present awards in 36 craft, console, computer and online categories. Electronic Arts lead the count with 29 finalists, followed by Ubisoft and SCEA with 23 and 21 finalists respectively. A full list of finalists can be found at the academy’s website but those games in contention for game of the year are Command & Conquer: Generals, Max Payne 2, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Ratchet & Clank 2, Rise of Nations, SSX3, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.
