Representatives from design group BattleBorne Entertainment have announced that a preliminary injunction has been entered in the company’s favor against Acclaim Entertainment. The preliminary injunction restrains Acclaim from shipping the company’s Combat Elite: WWII Paratroopers title for the PlayStation2 and Xbox. The company has sued the beleaguered publisher for breaching the parties' development agreement by failing to make payments when due and by threatening to release Combat Elite prior to making all required payments.
