3DS Max Adds Macromedia Director 8.5

Discreet is including Macromedia Director 8.5 with the standard priced version of 3DS Max for a limited time. The addition of Director 8.5 allows designers to create content on 3DS Max, add interactivity on Director 8.5 and then immediately port it to the web using Macromedia’s 3D-enhanced Shockwave Player. The full commercial version of Discreet’s 3DS Max 4 bundled with Macromedia Director 8.5 will be available in mid-August 2001 for $3,495.
