Opinion: How will Project 2025 impact game developers?
The Heritage Foundation's manifesto for the possible next administration could do great harm to many, including large portions of the game development community.
3DO announced the resignation of its chief financial officer, Bill Dully, had stepped down from his post for personal reasons.
He is being replaced by David Wittenkamp, who comes to the company without prior game industry experience, but a resume with deep roots in high technology companies. Wittenkamp co-founded two technology companies, one of which was publicly funded and traded in Denmark and which was later acquired by Ericsson. He has 15 years of experience in both small and large companies, in both the U.S. and Europe, including Motorola, IBM, Nokia, and Ericsson. He is experienced in finance, accounting, operations, manufacturing, logistics, IT, business development, HR, and customer support, and at 3DO he will manage those functions. The company also restated guidance from last month, saying it expected to return to profitability this year.
