3D Rad has announced the release of the first freeware version of their popular 3d games creator. The new freeware version, which allows even novice developers to produce playable games, also includes full documentation, demos, examples and pre-made resources. "This freeware version gives you for free features that other game creators give you for hundreds of dollars," says Leonard Edelmann, developer and contact person for 3D Rad. "Anyone can finally turn their dreams to reality, just spending ten minutes to download the software." Advanced features include specific support for action games, racing games, flight simulation, atmospheric effects and the ability to automatically create 3D animated explosions. 3D Rad team is currently working on future release 4.2.
