The Association of Electronic Interactive Marketers (AEIM) has announced the results of its peer-judged 2007 MI6 awards show, honoring the video game marketing community, bestowing its Gold and Silver Muse statues to winners in nearly 50 categories at the end of the 2-day San Francisco conference. At this year’s show, 77 statues were presented to many of the top industry players. Activision took home nine awards, Ubisoft earned eight awards and Microsoft won seven awards. Other big winners include Petrol, Ignited Minds and McCann Erickson, San Francisco, as well as Konami, THQ and Electronic Arts. Notable winners include the Gears Of War 'Mad World' clip for Best Product Television Ad, as well as the Lost Planet special edition packaging and the memorable Hitman: Blood Money print ads, plus the Xbox 360 'Cops And Robber' ad and the witty clips for Viva Pinata. Movie trailer post-production studio and advertising agency Trailer Park also shared in the glory, winning four awards for its work on behalf of Activision and one for the Warner Bros. Game logo with 1741 Films.
