The organizers of this week's E For All Expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center have confirmed the major exhibitors and attractions for this week's event, with publishers including Nintendo and Electronic Arts the main attraction. The IDG-released list of high-profile exhibitors at the event, which runs from Thursday October 18th to Sunday October 21st, includes Nintendo, Electronic Arts, THQ, Konami, Namco, and 2K Games, with some notable names also missing, including publishers such as Sony, Microsoft and Ubisoft. Nonetheless, the list of playable games for the event includes Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Donkey Kong Barrel Blast; Activision’s Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare; Electronic Arts’ The Simpsons Game, Rock Band and Medal of Honor Heroes; THQ’s WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2008; and Konami’s Metal Gear Solid 4. Other attractions of the event including Major League Gaming tournaments, with pro gamers competing on the Halo Trilogy, EA Sports’ NBA Live, Gears of War, Shadowrun and other titles for cash prizes, as well as Guitar Hero II competitions and an associated Video Games Live Concert. Finally, the GDC-organized Game Career Seminar, for which the lecture list was recently announced, is taking place on Friday and Saturday, October 19th and 20th, and includes a game pitching session chaired by Dave Perry and Ready At Dawn's Ru Weerasuriya as one of the highlights.
