Publisher 10Tacle Studios has announced that the CEO of its Singapore-based Asia Pacific office, Aroon Tan, is departing to pursue a career in virtual worlds. 10Tacle says that while it has accepted Tan's resignation "with deep regret," 10T Asia will continue working closely with him on upcoming virtual worlds and online media projects. The company's shareholders have chosen former director of corporate planning Alex Loo to take the role of managing director, where he he will focus 10T Asia's business towards investing and providing executive production services to third-party creators of digital media content. Said Loo, "10T Asia was born out of the strength of the industry, and with this refocusing of the business, 10T Asia continues to involve and revolve around what unique Asia is offering to the world. I believe we will continue to add value to each new product from conception to launch and by building up strong alliances in the region, we will be in tandem with the explosive growth of the online digital media and games industry."
