Newsbrief: In an eccentric marketing move to promote BioWare's upcoming Mass Effect 3, Electronic Arts will send a number early copies of the game into space. As reported by USA Today, EA plans to launch a series of weather balloons from New York, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Berlin, London, and Paris, each carrying a copy of Mass Effect 3 and a GPS device. Fans will be able to track the balloons' progress on the official Mass Effect website to locate their landing site and hopefully score a copy for themselves. These star-bound copies will launch roughly two weeks before Mass Effect 3's terrestrial debut on March 6.
