Christian-themed game developer Left Behind Games announced that it has appointed Jerome Mikulich as the company's new strategic marketing manager. Mikulich will assist in Left Behind Games' plan to distribute more than a million copies of the demo of the developer's flagship title, Left Behind:Eternal Forces, to churches. Mikulich worked previously in a non-video game role to bring Christian-themed musical programs to churches within an established network. Left Behind Games will tap into that network of contacts to reach a potentially wider audience than possible within traditional channels. "Jerome's knowledge and experience in this market is an invaluable asset to our company," said Troy Lyndon, CEO, Left Behind Games. "His experience speaking to large audiences and generating excitement will help us reach young people interested in our game and encourage them to think seriously about matters of eternal importance." This move marks the latest within the new company, which last month appointed industry veteran and analyst David J. Klein to the position of senior vice president. Left Behind:Eternal Forces is currently scheduled to ship in October in time for the holiday season.
