Heavy Rain Tops Game Trading Site's Most Requested List For 2010

Game-trading site Goozex says Heavy Rain was the game most requested by its users in 2010, suggesting interest in the title well beyond those willing to buy the game outright. The story-based PlayStation 3 exclusive sold 200,000 units in its first week on sale and reached a million sales worldwide nearly two months after its late February 2010 release, becoming the 22nd best-selling game for the first quarter of the year. But strong interest among the members of Goozex's game-trading community suggest many more people may have tried the game secondhand. The remainder of the list includes many of the year's most successful games, and a few popular holdovers from 2009. However, it doesn't include top sellers such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Madden 11, suggesting these titles may not see as much interest in the secondhand market. Not a single Wii game made the trading site's overall list of top-ten requests, though nine of the ten most-requested Wii games on the service were published by Nintendo. Goozex users post lists of requested and available games and trade directly with other users using pre-paid envelopes sold by the service.
