Obsidian Entertainment and Bethesda Softworks' Fallout: New Vegas topped the UK Sales charts and experienced a stronger debut week than Fallout 3, reports tracking firm Chart-Track. Fallout: New Vegas follows the precedent set by the popular 2008 title Fallout 3, and allows players to explore a radioactive wasteland, this time set in the Mojave Desert and a post apocalyptic Las Vegas. For the week ended October 23, EA's Medal of Honor and FIFA 11 rounded out the top three, and Level 5 and Nintendo's Professor Layton and the Unwound Future debuted at number four. Platinum Games' fast paced shooter Vanquish did not make the top 10 in its opening week, and landed at number 12. Wii Sports Resort returned to the top 10, jumping from number 15 to number seven. Halo: Reach just missed the top 10 at number 11, and other titles falling from the list include Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2.
