Former Double Fine staffers Patrick Hackett and Drew Skillman established a foothold at the leading edge of VR when they released their 3D VR painting tool Tilt Brush in 2016.

At GDC 2017, Hackett and Skillman reflected on its 3 years of development and spoke frankly about its origins, early development, the acquisition of their company by Google, and the launch process.
