Virtual Reality Developers Conference organizers are highlighting a series of VRDC Fall 2017 panels which will discuss how to create immersive, convincing spaces in VR.

This sessions is part of the conference’s Games & Entertainment track of talks, which encompasses experts from around the world sharing insight into developing and designing for virtual- and augmented-reality technologies.

In the talk “Use Your Illusion: Creating Immersive Virtual Reality Worlds” Adam Orth, Dirk Van Welden, Will Smith and Chris Pruett will dissect and discuss the critical importance of creating believable and immersive VR worlds through four unique experience lenses, products and platforms.

The panelists will examine other successful VR worlds, identify visible trends in the commercial market and discuss the future of immersive worlds against the rapidly changing technology that creates them. Orth is creator of the groundbreaking VR experience ADR1FT, Van Welden created the VR game Space Pirate Trainer, Smith is founder of FOO and is currently focusing on exploring new frontiers in animation and storytelling, and Pruett has directed Dead Secret, a VR murder mystery. Come hear what these industry veterans have to say!

A key goal of the panel is to provide attendees with insight and foundational knowledge around creating original and immersive virtual reality worlds for gamers, viewers and product platforms.
