The latest challenge, now available on the site, is create an original yet simple game that requires nothing more than a few people and spoken words. The Game Design Challenge asks aspiring game makers to experiment with their ideas and discuss matters of game development. In the latest challenge, for example, the community of people working to solve the problem has opened a discussion on the definition of a game. Does it have to declare a winner in order to be a game? Does there have to be a scoring system? Professional game developers are invited to weigh in on the discussions and participate in the challenges.
