Monkey Island creator Ron Gilbert leaves Double Fine
Following the release of side-scrolling puzzler The Cave, director Ron Gilbert revealed this week that he has left Double Fine to move onto other projects.

Newsbrief: Following the release of side-scrolling puzzler The Cave, director Ron Gilbert revealed this week that he has left Double Fine to move onto other projects. "It's time for me to move on from Double Fine and plot my next move," he explained in a brief blog post. "So many games left to be designed." Gilbert noted that he already has a side project for iOS underway with game designer Clayton Kauzlaric, who he previously co-created DeathSpank with. More information can be found in the blog post.
