Watch this Oculus Rift prototype explore new horror game territory

We've seen plenty of videos showing off what can be achieved with a combination of the upcoming Oculus Rift VR technology and a little bit of creativity. A new prototype from Greenwood Games explores the possibilities of putting a game within a game. Alone presents players with a dark room in which they are playing a video game. The player can control the character on the television, while looking around will glance around the room itself. The twist is that -- well, watch the video above to see for yourself. Alone gives us a glimpse at the sort of wonderfully unique experiences that will no doubt come out of Oculus Rift development in the years to come.
