In this 2017 GDC talk, Red Hook Studios' John Lindvay explains why the company has adopted a 'camp counselor' approach to community management, and how it has helped foster a strong relationship with their community.

Lindvay opened up about how managing the community around the studio's hit game Darkest Dungeon worked best as a sort of 'camp counselor' situation, and explained how offering ways for players to opt-in and still submit feedback has helped Red Hook maintain a positive dialogue with their players -- which has only helped them create the best version of their game.

It was a fascinating talk, and now you can watch it for free on the official GDC YouTube channel!
