Twitch's 10 most-watched games of 2015

Twitch's annual retrospective is now live, and it was quite a year for the video game streaming platform, which saw 1.7 million monthly broadcasters stream 459,366 years worth of video during 2015. 

On average the service played host to 550,000 concurrent viewers at any given moment, with most tuning in from the U.S., Canada, Brazil, Sweden, France, Russia, Poland, Germany Taiwan, and the U.K.

At the top of its game Twitch's concurrent viewer count rose to 2.1 million. November was its most active month for broadcasting, with the service at one point hosting 35,610 concurrent broadcasts. As for the games themselves, the top 10 most-watched games of last year were (from most- to least-streamed):

(FIFA 15 and Destiny were the only new titles to break into the top 10 last year.)

The past 12 months also saw an increase in mobile viewers and broadcasters, with Twitch registering over 1 million mobile installs last year. As a result mobile users now make up 35 percent of Twitch's monthly viewership.
