[In this weekly column, Gamasutra rounds up the most popular paid and free iPad gaming applications on the App Store as of today, with Machinarium, Monopoly and Where's My Water? currently ranking among the platform's top downloads.] This week's top paid titles are: 1. Monopoly for iPad ($0.99) 2. Where's My Water? ($0.99) 3. Machinarium ($1.99) 4. Words With Friends HD ($2.99) 5. Scrabble for iPad ($0.99) 6. Tetris for iPad ($0.99) 7. Angry Birds HD ($4.99) 8. The Game of Life for iPad ($0.99) 9. Madden NFL 12 for iPad ($0.99) 10. Real Racing 2 HD ($0.99) Electronic Arts captures several spots in this week's iPad chart thanks to a catalog-wide sale. The publisher's iPad adaptation of Monopoly leads as this week's top seller after dropping in price to 99 cents, while EA's Scrabble, Tetris, Madden NFL 12, and The Game of Life also report increased sales. Disney's physics puzzler Where's My Water? takes second place following a recent content update, while Amanita Design's Machinarium returns to the top ten during a limited-time sale. Here are this week's top free iPad applications: 1. The Sheeps HD Free 2. Bejeweled Blitz 3. Top Girl HD 4. Temple Run 5. Crime City HD 6. Fishing Stars HD 7. Pet Cafe HD 8. Mystery Manor: Hidden Adventure 9. The Merry Manor HD 10. Pinball HD Collection Ivan Starchenkov's The Lost Vikings-like character puzzler The Sheeps HD Free heads this week's rankings, pushing former chart leader Bejeweled Blitz to second place. Crowdstar finds chart success with Top Girl HD at third place, as Imangi's autoscrolling platformer Temple Run joins the top ten this week at fourth.
