Apple's latest U.S. App Store game charts by revenue see Zynga Poker and The Heist earning top iPhone sales, while Smurfs' Village and Infinity Blade remain big sellers on the iPad.

Every week, Gamasutra rounds up the top-grossing iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad applications, as current that day in the iTunes App Store. This week's U.S. revenue charts see Zynga Poker and The Heist earning top iPhone sales, while Smurfs' Village and Infinity Blade remain big sellers on the iPad. These charts allow end users to see who is making the most money on the App Store that day. It differs significantly from the Top 10 Games chart, which is ranked by sales, and therefore is dominated by lower-priced titles that sell more copies. Data comes courtesy of Apple's public sales information. All titles in the App Store's "Games" category are considered in chart rankings. This week's top-grossing iPhone titles are: 1. Zynga Poker (Free) 2. The Heist ($0.99) 3. Angry Birds ($0.99) 4. Tap Zoo (Free) 5. Infinity Blade ($2.99) 6. Tap Pet Hotel (Free) 7. Words With Friends ($2.99) 8. Smurfs' Village (Free) 9. Texas Poker (Free) 10. High Noon (Free) Zynga's free-to-play social gambling sim Zynga Poker claims the top spot in today's chart following a recent update. Tap Tap Tap's puzzler The Heist climbs up to second place after debuting at fourth last week, as Angry Birds remains a popular pick at third. Free-to-play favorites like Tap Pet Hotel and Smurfs' Village report consistent earnings in the latter half of the top ten, as Happylatte's High Noon makes its chart debut at tenth place. Here are this week’s top-grossing iPad applications: 1. Smurfs' Village (Free) 2. Angry Birds HD ($4.99) 3. Infinity Blade ($2.99) 4. Tap Zoo (Free) 5. We Rule Deluxe for iPad (Free) 6. Angry Birds Rio HD ($2.99) 7. Plants vs. Zombies HD ($6.99) 8. VegasTowers HD (Free) 9. Scrabble for iPad ($4.99) 10. Trade Nations (Free) Smurfs' Village returns to the top of the charts this week, beating last week's top iPad revenue earners Angry Birds HD and Infinity Blade. PopCap's Plants vs. Zombies HD makes an appearance at sixth in today's results after an extended absence, while SiuYiu's hotel sim VegasTowers HD beats Scrabble for iPad and Trade Nations at eighth place.
