Every week, Gamasutra rounds up the top-grossing Android gaming applications, as current that day in the Android Market. This week's U.S. revenue charts see Defender and Tap Fish leading today's rankings, as World of Goo and Life is Crime also report top earnings. These charts allow end users to see who is making the most money in the Android Market that day. It differs significantly from the Top Paid Games chart, which is ranked by sales, and therefore is dominated by lower-priced titles that sell more copies. Data comes courtesy of Google's public sales information. All titles in the Android Market's "Games" category are considered in chart rankings. This week's top-grossing Android titles are: 1. Defender (Free) 2. Tap Fish (Free) 3. Live Holdem Poker Pro (Free) 4. Zynga Poker (Free) 5. Smurfs' Village (Free) 6. World of Goo ($4.99) 7. Fashion Story (Free) 8. Life is Crime (Free) 9. Bakery Story (Free) 10. Paradise Island (Free) This week's revenue charts remain largely unchanged compared to last week's results, with DroidHen's strategy title Defender continuing to battle Gameview's aquarium simulation Tap Fish for the Android Market's top spot. 2D Boy's PC-ported physics puzzler World of Goo remains a steady seller at sixth place, while Red Robot Labs' social combat title Life is Crime ranks in at eighth.
