Newsbrief: The Tokyo Game Show saw record attendance this year, with over 270,000 people walking through the doors of the venue over the four days it ran last week. Between September 19-22, and as noted by Gematsu, the Makuhari Messe in Chiba saw 270,197 people -- up a notable 47,000 compared to last year's attendance figures. On the final day alone the show saw 115,444 people through the doors. Of course, this is only one side of the story -- as Gamasutra senior contributing editor Brandon Sheffield pointed out earlier this week, "there are fewer exhibitors from Japan every year, fewer games, and less buzz."
