THQ has announced that it will expand its uDraw
line of games -- along with its uDraw GameTablet accessories -- to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, according to the company.
The uDraw -- THQ's own third party-produced tablet accessory for Nintendo's Wii -- debuted in November of 2010 to significant popularity.
Four games have been released for the accessory thus far: Dood's Big Adventure
, uDraw Studio
, and SpongeBob Squigglepants
. Six additional titles, including Kung Fu Panda 2
, will ship during THQ's fiscal 2012.
The uDraw GameTablet has shipped 1.7 million units worldwide. In a Gamasutra-attended conference call, THQ CEO Brian Ferrell said this number was "well in excess" of its initial expectation of 1 million units in the fiscal year.
