The Forgotten City publisher Plug In Digital has raised $75 million in Series B funding to expand its portfolio.

The company said the cash will allow it to increase its footprint in the digital and physical space with "global, multi-platform IP."

Plug In Digital operates two publishing labels, Dear Villagers and PID Games, and through them has worked on titles like The Forgotten City, Edge of Eternity, Scourge Bringer, and Alba: A Wildlife Adventure.

The company has witnessed 50 percent annual growth over the past five years, and according to Plug In Digital CEO Francis Ingrand is keen to build on that momentum by "mixing organic development and targeted strategic acquisitions."
