Thatgamecompany's Journey, released for PlayStation 3 earlier this month, is now the fastest selling game ever on the PlayStation Network in the U.S. The company's creative director Jenova Chen revealed that the game has broken PlayStation Network and PlayStation Store sales records, selling faster than any other first or third-party game available via the service in the SCEA region. "We have received more letters from fans in the two weeks since Journey's launch than we did for Flower [the company's second game for PS3] over the past three years," he said. Chen did not reveal exact sales figures for the game. Gamasutra has contacted Sony for clarification on how many units Journey has sold. The announcement comes as Gamasutra broke the story this morning that Thatgamecompany co-founder and president Kellee Santiago has left the company.
