Telltale Games has announced it's continuing its expansion into the retail games market, signing publishing agreements to bring its downloadable adventure series to PS3 and Wii discs. The company will first make use of the agreements with retail console editions of its Back to the Future series of games, which has seen over one million downloads on the PC, the company reports. The series also appeared on PlayStation Network, Mac and iPad. "Securing [these agreements] ensures that we can make our popular content available on every major console platform," Telltale co-founder and CEO, Dan Connors said in a statement. "This signing is a significant milestone in our long-term growth strategy." The news comes month after Telltale announced Jurassic Park as its first Xbox 360 retail title. Telltale's Sam and Max series was previously released as a retail Wii disc, but that title was published by JoWood. Telltale recently secured $7 million in Series C venture capital funding to support upcoming game launches, including new franchises based on the Fable and Walking Dead licenses.
