Space Engineers, a sandbox space construction game that is currently on Steam Early Access, has sold more than 1 million copies.
The game, from Prague, Czech Republic-based Keen Software, was released as an alpha build on Early Access last October. The team says that it plans to work on the title "for a while longer" before the final release.
Space Engineers is another notable example of a studio finding big success with Steam Early Access. Other titles that have made it big thanks to Early Access include
Rust, Kerbal Space Program and
DayZ.
