Two senior executives at social gaming company 6waves Lolapps have left the company following news earlier this month of layoffs, including one of the company's co-founders. 6waves Lolapps laid off its entire development staff last week and is now restructuring its business to focus entirely on its publishing efforts. Former CTO and co-founder Brian Rue (pictured) has now left the company, along with chief product officer Arjun Sethi. On his personal blog, Rue explained that he is "proud of the culture that we built," noting that those employees let off last week have been banding together to find jobs. Although he did not reveal what he'll be up to next, he said that he wants to start a new game development company and "try something very different." Sethi, formerly CEO of Lolapps before it merged with 6waves, stated on his blog, "I find it so hard to say goodbye to the team and to the impressive products that we’ve built together." He also highlighted the company's culture, echoing Rue's sentiments regarding former employees coming to gether to create new opportunities in the near future.
