Rockstar Games has unveiled the L.A. Noire Rockstar Pass, an online purchase that gives players access to DLC being released today as well as future DLC for the game at a reduced price over individual purchases. The pack -- which is available today for 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live Arcade and planned for $10 on the PlayStation Store after the service relaunches later this week -- includes immediate access to two downloadable cases, two in-game outfits, and a "Badge Pursuit Challenge." Pack purchasers will also be able to download the "Nicholson Electroplating Disaster" case starting June 21 and a "Reefer Madness" case July 12. The seven pieces of DLC, some of which were previously available as pre-order bonuses, cost $20 (1600 Microsoft points) altogether when purchased individually. The price of the bundled Rockstar Pass will increase to $12 (or 960 Microsoft points) on June 14. Members of the free Rockstar Social Club community will also earn a free download of the Chicago Piano Machine Gun and Chicago Lightning Detective Suit, the company announced today. Earlier in the month, Rockstar parent company Take-Two Interactive saw its shares skyrocket following the first round of overwhelmingly positive reviews for L.A. Noire. Amazon sales data shows the game heading sales stateside and in the UK in its first week of availability, beating off the likes of Mortal Kombat and Dirt 3.
