Remote PC game streaming coming to the Nvidia Shield

Newsbrief: Nvidia's Shield handheld can both play Android-based games, and stream games directly from a PC via local wi-fi. With the latest update, Nvidia is looking to take that latter functionality on a remote scale. Due to launch as a beta soon, the Shield will be able to access complete remote access to your PC, with built-in wake-on-LAN support, meaning you'll be able to wake your PC remotely from sleep mode, and play PC games streaming from your computer anywhere. And Nvidia is hoping to take this further with new Bluetooth keyboard and mouse support. The idea is that you'll be able to connect your Shield to a TV and then streaming your PC games to a TV wherever you are. This latest update also bring Android 4.4.2 Kitkat support to the device -- and the device has received a temporary price-cut to $199 in the hope of enticing more consumers. All the details of this update can be found on the official website.
