A new partnership with Europe's epay will see Zynga's physical Game Cards distributed to locations in 18 regions across Europe, expanding Zynga's retail presence to new areas. The cards -- which allow users to purchase items in Zynga's free-to-play games without the need for a credit card transaction -- will be available at epay's "cash load network," which includes 276,000 retailers and 588,000 kiosks. The partnership will make the cards available in France, Spain, Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium, Portugal, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Greece, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Croatia. epay will also distribute the Game Cards across the United Kingdom, though cards are already available in that region through an existing partnership. "epay will provide us with a way to leverage their strong network of premium retailers as well as their robust payment processing infrastructure to enable more of our international players to purchase Zynga Game Cards in a convenient way," said Zynga's Ryan Linton in a statement. Zynga's existing retail partners in the United States and Canada include Rite Aid, 7-11, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, WalMart and Walgreens, among others.
