Mobile social gaming network PapayaMobile announced today that it has surpassed 25 million total users, with more than 11 million paid transactions via its virtual currency to date. In comparison, the company noted that the average revenue per paying user is currently $22.60 a month across its entire network, with that figure settling at $10.00 a month across Papaya Game Engine games solely. The company also said that one in five users of its network purchase virtual currency in games that use its Papaya Game Engine, while the most popular games on the service are earning around $20,000 each month. Following PapayaMobile's move to launch a new program dedicated to helping Western Android developers release their games for Chinese audiences in July, the company revealed that China is now its fastest growing market. Papaya experienced a 500 percent growth in the region since January 2011, with Europe and the U.S. seeing 224 percent and 222 percent growths respectively. Earlier this year, PapayaMobile secured $18 million in a round of Series B investment funding, focused on expanding its network across Android and iOS.
