Only 10% of games to be featured during the STEAM' Summer Sale

Whole industry is living with the STEAM Summer Sale now.

Between 19-30 June "everything must go".

As a player I'm very happy because I can give a chance to some of the titles that I wouldn't buy for full price. This fantastically crazy event gave the chance for both sides.

Wastelands Interactive is on sale too and I see nice increase in sales. Probably most of the developers does.

But the quick calculation made this clear, only 10% of games will be featured and only for that lucky 10% this will be BIG DEAL.

Currently there is roughly 3500 games on STEAM, and if I calculated properly there are only 396 slots. We have got 12 days of sale and there are always 9 slots for 24 hours deals from STEAM. this gave us 108 games. Another part of the screen is the Flash sale with four games changing every 8 hours, so this gave us 144 games and the community choice makes this another 144 games with a set of four games changing every 8 hours.

So have faith you will be choosen by STEAM, but keep in mind this only happens for one out of ten games.
