Nintendo 3DS gains 5,000 free Wi-Fi hotspots in Europe
Nintendo of Europe has signed a deal with Wi-Fi network Free Hotspot, that will give Nintendo 3DS owners access to more than 5,000 Wi-Fi hotspots across Europe.
Newsbrief: Nintendo of Europe has signed a deal with Wi-Fi network Free Hotspot, that will give Nintendo 3DS owners access to more than 5,000 Wi-Fi hotspots across Europe. 3DS users will be able to automatically connect to any of these hotspots in 21 European countries for free simply by visiting the 3DS web browser. The Wi-Fi hotspots can also be used to utilize the 3DS SpotPass features and purchase games from the eShop. Free Hotspot's network covers numerous big-name restaurants and hotel chains, including the likes of McDonald's, Burger King, KFC, Subway, Ibis Hotels and Etap Hotels.
