NetEase has made an undisclosed investment into Polish VR studio Something Random.

According to an article published in Puls Biznesu (via Google Translate), the Chinese company has sunk "millions" into the studio -- although an exact figure wasn't provided.

Something Random CFO Piotr Gogus confirmed the news on Linkedin and said the nascent outfit managed to close a seed funding round with "strong investor and partner NetEase."

The Polish studio was formed in March 2021 by a group of former Superhot Team developers including Cezary Skorupka, Jakub Witczak, and Ania Żurawicz-Skorupka.

According to Gogus, the company plans on releasing two VR titles "soon."
