Newsbrief: Last October, Neo Geo X developer
SNK Playmore stated that it had terminated its contract with North America distributor Tommo Inc. Now the company has reiterated this termination, stating that anyone selling Neo Geo products from Tommo must cease immediately.
Notably, the company describes any devices that are not approved by SNK Playmore to be "unapproved/pirated products," and stresses that "we have nothing to do with Tommo Inc."
While Tommo has yet to respond, the distributor previously claimed that it plans to continue supporting the Neo Geo X until 2016, as per an agreement that it has in place with SNK Playmore.
